As i said in my previous post on guiding you about the wordpress blog transfer from an existing to a new domain name, i am writing this article with the steps involved in it. I am using CPanel based webhosting in existing and the new domain. That reduces many manual works i may have to do for a successful transfer of the blog.
Note: These steps are only for people who have self hosted blog (not in wordpress.com) and wish to transfer it to the new domain name.
When we find some cool domain names after months or years of blogging, we may have an idea about booking that domain and transferring all the contents to the new domain to attract the visitors than before. Today, social bookmarking and networking sites reduces the necessity of remembering the favorite websites (blogs) when we sit with internet. So transferring to a new domain name can be a better choice.

I was hunting for the Google Buzz plugin all over the web and finally in my dashboard today i got a notification. I was happy to see that the google buzz wordpress approved plugin is released and available to download. Its actually developed by Arpit Shah and here you can download or search within your wordpress dashboard too. Just type “wp google buzz” in the plugin search to get it installed 
You can select various buttons with sizes to display in your blog.

It is very important to protect your Wordpress Administration panel from Hackers. Password Guessing is an attack where any one can try with some possible password sequence for your website, blog or even email account to gain access. Today, maximum email service providers have the minimum login attempt service in place. Hence email password guessing attack can be reduced somehow. But not for your wordpress login box.
Users can try many number of attempts to login to the Dashboard. Here is a plugin called Login Lockdown that helps you to minimize the password guessing attack on your Wordpress Admin Area (/wp-admin).
Just install it via Plugins->Add New Plugin option and its all set to function and provide security to your Blog.

Are you looking for a way to publish your tweets, twitter searches and updates in real time with your blog or website ? . No complex steps to configure it with your site. It takes few clicks to grab the code and paste it in the file, where you want to display your tweets. I was searching in google for some realtime update providing plugin from my twitter account. Surprisingly, Twitter provides the widget service under goodies to embed Twitter Update block in any website or blog. You can see the one in right sidebar of this webpage.
Step 1: Login to your Twitter Account.
Step 2: Navigate to http://twitter.com/goodies/widgets in your browser by typing the URL.
Step 3: Select My Website and you will see four options as shown in the above snapshot.
Profile Widget, Search Widget, Favorites Widget, and List Widget are the four options to generate the twitter box for your website. You can customize the color of the box, header text color, background and so on in the next screen.
