Atlast, it happened. Apple Thunderbolt Display officially Discontinued by Apple which shows the signs of new, upgraded, slim, powerful, high resolution packed (may be 5K) Thunderbolt Display is on its way. As we all know, WWDC 2016 ended couple of weeks ago with all about Software announcements, i personally expect Apple will announce another dedicated event for Macbook Pro 2016 and few more hardware announcements.

There are no rumors yet about whether Apple will announce new product lineup this year, but it is going to be a super busy year for Apple in refreshing its Hardware section to much powerful and thinner designs.

About Thunderbolt Display, there was one rumor that claimed apple was planning for a new Thunderbolt Display with built-in GPU. However, we can expect a 5K Thunderbolt Display as its been quite some time since the release of 5K iMac. You can still pickup the current Thunderbolt Display model at Apple Stores near to you till stocks last. Apple also suggests Thunderbolt Display Alternatives to its customers at its official apple store website.

Since 2011, Apple didn’t update the Thunderbolt Display which has a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440. Apple didn’t officially slashed or discounted the pricing of Thunderbolt Display till date, even though its completely outdated for the past couple of years. There are plenty of thunderbolt display alternatives available for Macbooks, iMac and Mac mini computers to use as a primary and secondary external display monitors.

Lets wait for few more days to see what apple has to surprise us. Fingers crossed and i am eagerly waiting for next announcement from Apple officially probably next month about exclusive Macbook Pro 2016 model and other new hardware upgrades and launch. Thanks for reading and feel free to share your thoughts. Have a wonderful day.
