Google has released a Chrome Extension that allows you to save web pages and images that you see while browsing the web. Sounds familiar? Well Yes, the Pocket alternative by Google is here and its called “Save to Google”. Download Save to Google Chrome extension from Chrome Webstore and start saving your favorite webpages and images that you come across and want to view them later.
You can also organize it later and the layout is very intuitive just like Google+ design. All your saved webpages and images can be accessed by visiting google.com/save in your chrome web browser.
If you use many of Google’s services, then you will definitely going to like this wonderful pocket alternative by google. Overall, the Save to Google looks like a mix up of Pocket and Pinterest. Simply clicking on the Star icon in your chrome browser will instantly save the web pages you visit and want to save them for reading later.
You can tag each saves for easy retrieval of saved webpages and images. Download Save to Google Chrome extension today and see how the all new service by google works for you. As there is no announcement officially yet from Google, many users have reported that they are getting Server Not Found, 404 errors while viewing google.com/save url or while trying the extension.
