One thing iPhone users excited and at the same time afraid about is iOS Software Update. iOS 14.4.1 released recently with Security Fixes, but many iPhone 11, iPhone 12, 12 Pro users have started noticing Fast Battery Drain Problem after the update. There is no other mention in the release notes about Battery issues or fixing something even related to battery performance improvement.

Still, we are noticing fast battery drain after iOS update. This is not new and one simple troubleshooting step I have tried and worked for me is, performing all settings reset.

Go to Settings – General – Reset – Reset All Settings.

This all settings reset will flush any changes to the settings you have made and set it to default. Changes like your Wifi Passwords, Network Settings, Dark or Light mode, Keyboard settings, Text Size and few more system wide modifications that you have done will be reseted.

None of your Photos, Videos and Apps data will be deleted when you perform all settings Reset.

So don’t worry and make sure to read about it before performing all settings reset. Once done, monitor your iPhone battery performance for 2 to 3 days and I am sure you will notice some improvements in iOS Battery Drain.

Soon, we will be seeing iOS 14.5 stable version, and so far beta versions rolled out to developers and testers are smooth and giving excellent performance overall. iOS 14.5 Battery Performance is the most I am eager about than couple of features its going to bring to the iPhone.

Do let me know after trying above troubleshooting step, whether it worked for you or not. Have a great day.
