Apple has released iOS 10.1 with some feature additions, refinements to existing features and most importantly bug fixes. iOS 10.1 makes the iPhone and iPad to be more stable and secure. Recently, security researchers found a vulnerability that allowed an hacker to take control of your iPhone or iPad just by sending you a JPEG file. When you open the file, it immediately executes the embedded code and allows the hacker to remotely execute code in your iOS device.
This serious high risk security vulnerability fixed by Apple with its release of iOS 10.1. So if you are running iOS 10 or early versions, then this one reason makes me tell you to update your iOS version to the latest immediately.
Along with JPEG iPhone Hack vulnerability, apple has addressed remote code execution vulnerabilities found in WebKit (CVE-2016-4677) and in Contacts (CVE-2016-4686) tightens the security overall through out the system.

It is a super easy way to hack any iPhone that is running iOS 10 and earlier version with this JPEG iPhone hack vulnerability. So without any delay go to “Settings – General – Software Update” to download iOS 10.1 via Over the Air (OTA) update to your iPhone and iPad.
Also, don’t forget to update your Macbook, iMac and Mac mini to latest macOS Sierra 10.12.1 that brings bug fixes for several security vulnerabilities reported and found. Apple Watch also received an update today that fixes security flaws and improvements to the features overall.
