Paperspace is a newly launched startup that brings future of computing to people who have faster Internet access. Remember Jolicloud? online storage service with an operating system that is accessible via web browser. Simply login to your account and access the personalized operating system with web applications and more. You can use it like a VPN service and install applications from their apps store. Paperspace is currently in early beta stage and anyone can request access in their official website paperspace.io.

You can create a paperspace computer with specific amount of RAM, CPU and Hard Disk Storage. Login to Paperspace with your Web Browser on existing computer, mobile phone or tablet from anywhere, anytime. Well, there is a catch, to feel that buttery smooth performance, you should ensure that you are connected to Broadband that is atleast 15 Mbps or more speed and 60ms of latency.

Paperspace don’t have enough technical details in their website, so from what i observed, it is a Virtual Private Server that you can access remotely using your Mobile or Existing PCs just by using browser software. It is definitely the future of computing and i feel, it will take time for people to consider using it with data limits in most of the countries by ISPs.

May be for Enterprises which wants to cut the cost of hardware upgrades can consider Paperspace.

    What is Paperweight?

The team behind paperspace also released Paperweight, a Router type of device which is round in shape and allows you to access your Paperspace Computer. It is easy to setup and comes with USB, HDMI and Power port to connect with your Display Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse. You can configure Internet Connectivity and start using the Paperspace computer by logging into your account, which is very similar to Google Chromebox. Paperweight comes at $50 and you can pre-order one now in their official website.
