I have updated my iPhone 11 Pro Max to iOS 13.4 and noticed Heating Problems. Especially while using Facebook App. Do check our latest video tutorial on How to Fix Facebook App heats up my iPhone Problem. Even after that, new problem come out and made me think, Whether SIRI causing Battery Drain and Heating Problem in iPhone with the latest iOS update.
This is a new iPhone 11 Pro Max with a Bigger Battery. The screen time for the past two days got really worse. Today i got roughly around 5 hours and 30 minutes screen time.
Which is totally worst battery performance for the all new iPhone 11 Pro Max. So I decided to proceed with All Settings Reset. Go to “settings – general – reset – reset all settings“. Which wont delete any data, but resets all the settings related to the iOS.
Now i am going to monitor the performance for another 24 hours to 48 hours and will update this page, how the screen on time and changes overall.
I have turned off SIRI & Search for Facebook App to prevent any background operation. Which i suspect, causing heating issues and battery drain problems in iPhone.
Also, i turned off Hey SIRI and going to turn off SIRI & Search completely to monitor it for 24 hours.
[Update on 2nd April 2020] As i suspected, it’s the SIRI that is causing Fast Battery Drain in iPhone after iOS Software Update. Shared my battery performance report in this video.
So far, people who have updated to iOS 13.4 in their iPhone are seeing Performance and Battery Improvements. Something went wrong with my update may be. I have updated through OTA this time, and I should have done it through iTunes.
When we update through iTunes, the entire iOS ipsw file is downloaded and avoids such file corrupt or other download related problems. But first, i hope the settings reset will bring some fix.
