Twitter App all of a sudden throwing “An Error Occurred. Please Try again Later. Authservice Error 7.” in your iPhone? Some users get this error after performing iOS Restore in their iPhone. For some users, twitter app suddenly logout their account, and when they attempt to login again. They start to see this Authservice Error.
Initially, I thought its Twitter Server related problem, and it could be fixed automatically. But surprisingly after few hours it didn’t. Also in my friends iPhone, its working perfectly fine. So understood, the problem is just for me.
Twitter App “An Error Occurred.. AuthService Error”
Reinstalling app didn’t help. I remembered, similar problem happening to Facebook app once. Then I created this video tutorial to help fixing the problem. Similar to Facebook Authentication Error, Twitter App seems to be storing the login data or cache files are causing this error.
Fix #1: Delete and ReInstall Twitter App
As a first troubleshooting step, Delete Twitter App and ReInstall it from Appstore. Then try Logging in with your Twitter username and password. For very minor users this may help fixing the authservice error in twitter app and let you login to access your account.
Fix #2: Erase and Reset All Settings (Factory Reset iPhone)
Performing Factory Reset to the iPhone and deleting all app and cache data is the only way. Make sure to take backup of your iPhone before performing “Settings – General – Transfer or Reset – Erase and Reset All Settings“. This will delete all your iPhone Storage Data.
Do refer above video tutorial, that I have made for similar Facebook Login Failed Error.
If there is any other way to fix this problem without performing factory reset to iPhone, I will update this post. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day.
