WhatsApp temporarily removed their latest feature addition, iOS Share Sheet integration to show contacts for quick access. After so many Share Sheet in iOS Crashed issues and feature not working properly complaints from its users, WhatsApp decided to remove WhatsApp Contacts integration in iOS Share Sheet.

If you have recently updated WhatsApp and wondering where the WhatsApp Contacts icons are in your iOS Share Sheet, then this is the reason. WhatsApp temporarily disabled iOS Share Sheet integration with their latest update.
We are hoping to see the feature roll out once again in short period after WhatsApp fixes its UI and Share Sheet Crashing related bugs. After updating to previous version, users were able to access WhatsApp Contacts, but some users did report Icons merged or seeing Blank page when they open Share Sheet.
It was working fine, and when they disable whatsapp ios share sheet integration, it works fine. We can disable the contacts integration by enabling Screen Lock in WhatsApp Security Settings.
However, it is an essential feature for many individual users and people who run their businesses in WhatsApp. It could save couple of extra steps to share a Message, Photo or Web URLs to their Friends or Groups.
