WhatsApp is working on Fingerprint Locking feature to Android mobile phones very soon. I always feel, WhatsApp for iOS is one of the popular messaging app and one of the slowest app when it comes to bring an update or feature improvements.

Apple has opened the Touch ID and Face ID for Developers long ago. Bank apps as you can see, already took advantage of that feature and most of them allows us to use it for Secure Authentication.

WhatsApp, being one of the popular messaging app should have brought this feature addition long ago. There is no official release date or confirmation about WhatsApp Touch ID and Face ID authentication feature availability yet. But it is clear that the release is happening very soon as developers have already found the traces and codes of it in latest beta releases.

Microsoft Outlook with Touch ID or Face ID enabled is my favorite among apps that supports it, other than Bank Apps.

My guess is, in a month or less than two months, we will receive an update with WhatsApp Touch ID or Face ID authentication enable and disable feature. It is also confirmed that the default PIN Code lock feature will be added to both android and iPhone as well.

So what do you think about this long awaited security feature is almost here for your iPhone? Feel free to write your comment as replies. Also, don’t forget to share this news about WhatsApp Touch ID or Face ID coming to iPhone with your friends and followers. Have a great day.
