Whether you want it or not, Microsoft will automatically download Windows 10 installation files to your Windows 7, Windows 8 and 8.1 PCs. This forceful download is not an expected one, and didn’t make windows users happy at all. It is a waste of Internet Bandwidth.

When companies like Google, Facebook are focusing on optimizing their Apps, Websites and Contents for mobile users in countries that has slow Internet windows 10 automatic downloadSpeed and Connectivity. Internet.org is launched to provide free facebook experience to users supporting ads and sponsors.

This is a bad move by microsoft, and it all started when they issued KB3035593 windows update couple of weeks ago. Windows older versions will create a hidden directory called $Windows.~BT and starts to download files that comes at size of 3.5GB to 6GB around. via The Inquirer.

Once the download completed, you may proceed with the installation or you can ignore the notification. Anyhow the Windows 10 Setup and Installation files are readily available in your local PC hard disk drive if you want in case.

It is not easy to skip the download or let Microsoft know that you don’t want the automatic background download to happen without your knowledge. It would be great if microsoft provided any option to notify the user before initiating the download. Such a bad move by microsoft and bad experience for windows 7 and 8 users.
