Microsoft Kinect Brings Gmail Motion to Reality

To have more interaction with Gmail, Google has introduced a new way of communication in called Gmail Motion. You can’t do anything without keyboard and mouse, but Gmail motion has break this rule that you can use the Gmail by your body movement.

How it works

Gmail Motion uses your computer’s webcam and Google’s patented spatial tracking technology to detect your movements and translate them into meaningful characters and commands. These  Movements are designed to be simple and understandable for people of all skill levels.

This technology is not limited to Gmail and also Google Docs Motion will be coming later this year said Google.

Gmail Motion was actually announced by Google as an April Fool phrank. Couple of days ago, people from Institute of Creative Technologies have announced the possibility of bringing the Gmail Motion to reality. Checkout this cool video to see the prototype and high chances to bring this to reality. They are so smart and no doubt google will offer him a job :).
