Paypal’s Recent Announcement is a Phishing or SPAM

We have made an update to notify the fellow bloggers and readers about the recent announcement  from paypal. Where the bloggers or freelancers from india gets a very tough time from this month. But its not true. There is no announcement or update about this new policy in Paypal Official Blog. Moreover, the email is not received by many of the paypal users till now. So this cannot be an announcement made by the Paypal directly.

We believe this must be an attempt to scam the paypal indian users by some scammers. The email contains no link but the aim is to make the paypal indian subscribers go mad at paypal and search for alternatives. So the bloggers and freelancers dont have to worry about the paypal funding and transfers.

Thanks to Mr.Robin, Blogger @ W3Graphix.com for this notification regarding our article “Paypal New Announcement – Great Disppointment” and requested for updating the same.

  1. Thesedays we need to be really careful cause everywhere we have spam and phishing attacks! Even the world's biggest sites like Amazon,Google and Twitter were effected! Thanks for the warning bro! 😀

    1. Welcome @Pubudu. Actually the above news appears to be real in another situation. Even you can try creating a ticket in Paypal's Resolution Center to get answer for this and they really reply the same. 🙁

But i still wonder, how come the notification didnt reach maximum indian users when the festival coupons or gift messages from paypal are delivered to all across the globe ?

    1. Hi, i think you try to say it as a PAN number verification. Paypal recently added the PAN number addition for all indian accounts to avoid TAX related problems when a person do an online trasaction. Also, the fake account problems can be sorted out pretty much.

Paypal have such mentioned policy for european countries and some other too. But in india no such limitations where account balance will be zero if they didnt withdraw it in certain days.
