From today orkut have added anti spam protection to status message’s also. This may be due to the recent attacks on many orkut accounts. Without the orkut user knowledge, some bot changes the profile information, profile picture and status messages to some pornographic texts and images. Which affects the user privacy and status among their friends. The newly added captcha verification seems pretty good idea to fight against such automatic modification issues.
