After the launch of Google+, Facebook made lot of changes in their interface and added more features to retain their users. Today Facebook has done few more interesting changes in its interface. It gives a new look to Facebook but quite similar to Google plus. Also some of the updates are really helpful to users to stay updated with their friends quickly and easily.

Previously Facebook made changes in the status update also introduced subscribe button to receive updates from anyone in your Facebook friends list. It is really helpful to Facebook users to stop unwanted content from their wall. Let me explain you the new introduced changes and features in Facebook.

Bigger and Faster Photos

When you add an album to your Facebook account, three random photos from the album will be displayed in landscape format in your wall. Today Facebook has modified the album display in your wall. Photos are looking enlarged and the album format is quite similar to Google plus. There will be one big random photo from your album and two small photos arranged portrait towards the right side of that big photo as shown in the screenshot below.

Improved Friend Lists and Home bar

Few days before Facebook lists has been updated based on the company and location you mentioned in your profile. It is similar to circles in Google+ where you can add people based on different categories. Previously Facebook has option to add friends in lists it helped people to manage their chat list. By using new Facebook list you can see updates from particular community of users in your Facebook account. Then one more important update from Facebook is its home bar. When you scroll down your home bar will be static so that you can stay update with your notifications and messages. Also home and profile button in the home bar is interchanged and profile button has been replaced with your username.

Facebook News Ticker

The Facebook News Ticker was tested few days ago by Facebook Development and its here with all facebook account who got the new design and changed mentioned above. You may minimize it or expand it to see the activities of your friends in realtime to leave a comment from your facebook profile page itself.
