Step 1: Twitter Design Settings
Select the tab Design from Settings which you can view at the top right corner of your profile.
Step 2: Select Themeleon
Click the Themeleon link at bottom right corner. After clicking this link, Themeleon will ask your to permission to login to Twitter and authorize the app.
Step 3: Customize your Themes Background
After authorizing the app you can customize your themes, background and layout of your profile by choosing the number of options over there and you can save your profile by clicking Save Profile button.
You can also add images to your background by choosing the images button in Background bar.

If you want to revoke access for this application, select Applications in menu and then click Revoke Access for COLOURlovers.
You can also Undo Revoke Access if you don’t want to unauthorize this app.
