Google has announced, that it has a plan to launch its Google TV globally in 2011. Google aim to bridge the gap between web and television, hence it decided to bring the Google search to your living room by next year. Google TV is a new experience made for television that combines the TV you know and love with the freedom and power of the Internet. Google is setting up all its process to get the launch better by bringing many entertainment sources inside. Google TV has launched to software developers in May 2010 and preparing to launch across U.S this october. Showing off the technology at the IFA trade fair, Google says it wants to “bridge the gap” between TV and the Internet. Google is currently working on bringing content to Google TV from major providers, as well as Android app support. Users will soon be able to change the channel with voice recognition.

Google almost seems to be doing too much, I think they should slow down and focus on releasing quality features, since Buzz and Instant really haven’t been that well received.
