WordPress 2.8.1 beta 1 released for testing

WordPress released its 2.8.1 Beta 1 after a week time of its 2.8 release. Most of the wordpress users fear to upgrade their 2.7 to 2.8 version because of plugin compatibility issues and theme related issues. In wordpress support forum some staffs have said to wait for 2.8.1 release that might give fix to these plugin issues. You might have read the 2.8 features and why wp users afraid of upgrading to it. The Bug fixes includes Dashboard high memory usage fix, Get categories() calling in themes, Deletion of files while upgrading to 2.8 version, and plugin explicit permission checks. These fixes are really sounds better. The team must come up with the stable release of 2.8.1 at the earliest to make the wordpress selfhosted users to feel happy.

  1. yes of course …..themes of wordpress are limited and they are so simple too
    but to select our own theme in the sense we need to pay …..
    but i felt difficult to pay ….hope some best theme may got from the new version
