Interestingly, Apple may change its iPhone release strategy this year too. The regular iPhone 18 might not arrive alongside the Pro models in September.

Another possibility is an Apple Event around September 14, followed by pre-orders on September 18 and the official release on September 25.
Of course, these dates are predictions based on Apple’s previous launch schedule. We have to wait for the official Apple Event invitation to know the exact date.
However, I think we can safely expect the iPhone 18 Pro Max sometime during the second half of September.

Another good sign for a September release is production.

A20 Pro 2nm Processor and RAM
Apple is also expected to introduce its new A20 Pro processor with the iPhone 18 Pro models.
The A20 Pro is expected to be Apple’s first iPhone processor manufactured using a 2nm process.
We should expect better performance, improved power efficiency and more processing power for Apple Intelligence, gaming, camera processing and other demanding tasks.
The iPhone 18 Pro models are also expected to continue with 12GB of RAM.
Variable Aperture Camera Upgrade
Camera is another area where Apple could bring an important change.
