Update: Facebook Account Verification from Security Team [Facebook Spam]
Facebook is a wonderful service which lets millions of users to share their technical experience with others across the globe. It has become a giant in Social Networking. As people grow you can always find some disgraces or indirect attacks on them.
That’s what exactly happened today on facebook. I’ve got a message from my friend in facebook message box as shown in the screenshot.
I did a little research over the message and figured it out thats its a SPAM. Its a bit older one, but i thought to share it with my surroundings as there is a possibility of knowing this type of spam message, for the first time.
As facebook is increasing its server resources and aiming forward to celebrate its 500 million user base, its highly difficult to make an announcement about facebook account deletion officially. So dont believe on such announcements ever. Facebook allows you to deactivate the account easily rather deleting it permanently. Its completely a spam art done by the spammers work to slow down the facebook servers. So guys dont have to forward it in a hurry to avoid deletion of your facebook account and try to be aware when you are on social networking by updating yourself.

Bro, everybody can know that it is a simple chain letter spam. I think there is no reason of panic. If Facebook ever has to delete your account, it will inform you through its own mailing system and not through your friends. I think your friend got swayed away by the spam
