Knoogle – Ask Questions to Google and Get Answers

Do check out my previous article “Knoogle Interesting Google Search and Results” to get an idea about Knoogle. Google search engine generally gives you results but at times it gives you the answer for some questions. Let’s see what are those

Weather Report: To find the weather for many U.S. and worldwide cities, type “weather” followed by the city and state, U.S. zip code, or city and country.

Example: Weather Chennai“(without quotes) gives the temperature of the day in Chennai

Time: To know the time in various cites across the word in just a simple search

Example: “Time Delhi“(without quotes) gives you standard Indian time

Calculator: To use Google’s built-in calculator function, simply enter the calculation you’d like done into the search box.

Example:”5*9+(sqrt 10)^3=”(without quotes)try it see what you get

Unit Conversion: You can use Google to convert between many different units of measurement of height, weight, and volume among many others. Just enter your desired conversion into the search box and it will do the rest.

Example:”1000m in inch“(without quotes) will the converted answer in inches

Synonym Search: To find the synonyms of word just use the symbol “~” in front

Example:”~internet“(without quotes) give you the meaning of internet

Dictionary Definitions: To see a definition for a word or phrase, simply type the word “define” then a space, then the word(s) you want defined. To see a list of different definitions from various online sources, you can type “define:” followed by a word or phrase. Note that the results will define the entire phrase.

Example: “Define multi-tasking“(without quotes) gives you the definition of the word multi-tasking

Currency Conversion: To convert between the currencies of different countries

Example:”100 INR IN USD“(without quotes) gives you the conversion for 100 rupees in dollars

Related Search: To search for web pages that have similar content to a given site, type “related:” followed by the website address into the Google search box.

Example: “related:www.facebook.com” (without quotes) gives you the all possible social networking sites similar to Facebook
